I absolutely love this line, I’ve fished the 6, 7 and 8 weight on rods from $250 to $1200 in both the mastery and amplitude textured. My main takeaway from fishing various set ups is to not always stick to the labeled weight. For beginner anglers and stiffer rods throwing 35-45 feet it is effortless. For lighter rods and newer technology I have found going down 1 or even 2 weights can offer a more enjoyable experience. Regardless of my nitpicking you cannot go wrong with this line
