Got the Groove to improve my fly casts. A week after I got the rod in the mail I was able to drop the line into buckets within a few casts. Line imitates the real deal. Even gets wind knots and slaps on the grass if you miscast.
Be careful around overhead lines and obstructions. Almost lost my internet after a few poor back casts. Also want to be mindful of others in your casting range. Cordage is a lot like a whip if you catch someone.
Only complaint is the yarn keeps coming off. I have had to retire and replace it a few times.
Hopefully SA will start selling replacement lines or other accessories for the Groove soon
