Never thought I could find a line that casts like this does. WOW! makes Orvis Wonderline look like twine! Handles great! Turns over like a dream. Thanks SA!

Thank you for your thoughtful review Tim!

I wish this were offered in a more inconspicuous color (like the willow of some of your other lines). If I need a line to make delicate casts to wary trout, bright green isn’t my first choice…

  3. Brent

Casts nicely. Like the feel in 9′ 5wt. Just lawn cast with this yet to take it out. Tried GPX and trout line years ago and just a joy for rainbows and browns. SA never disappoints. So far I really like this Mastery Trout. Even tried with 10′ sonar leader with 3′ of 10 lb tippet, and turned over size 10 buggers at 30ft. I wouldn’t try larger than that as I was putting some effort more than usual.

Wanted something between a double taper and a weight forward taper, so that I could still single-hand speycast. This line certainly did the trick and then some. It casts BEAUTIFULLY, both with a backcast, and with a single handed spey. LOVE IT…
