Biography
Living in northern Michigan gives Ted Kraimer an extremely diverse number of species to pursue with his guiding clients: Steelhead, Trout, Salmon, Carp and Smallmouth Bass. Ted owns Current Works, LLC guide service based in Traverse City, MI and is fortunate to call the Manistee, Betsie and Boardman Rivers his local waters. From matching the hatch for trout to hanging on tight for steelhead the local waters make a great office. In addition to being a certified FFF casting instructor, Ted is also a fly designer for Rainey’s Flies.
Fishing Experience
Ted's experience includes: fly fishing for the past 20 years, FFF casting instructor for the past 10, Guiding Anglers on local waters for 7 years. In addition to fishing locally, Ted has been fortunate to fish many of the western states for trout, Alaska for Steelhead, Canada for Atlantic Salmon, Florida for Tarpon and Permit and in Texas for Redfish.
