Born and raised in Eastern Washington, Sean never had to travel too far to chase trout with a fly rod. In the early 90's he honed his skills on the nearby streams of North Idaho and Western Montana. Sean quickly picked up fly tying as a way to kill time between fishing trips wich eventually led him into a fly tying instructor position at the age of 19 with a local fly shop. A couple years later, he went from teaching classes and working the afternoon shift to managing the shop. By the age of 23 he purchased the business and moved it to its present location in the Spokane Valley. When Sean is not running the business or guiding anglers he spends most of his time steelheading the Grande Ronde or Clearwater River and pestering the local trout on the nearby rivers. He has also aquired an addiction to tropical saltwater fly fishing due to the cold winters of the Inland Northwest.
