Biography

I was introduced to the sport of Fly Fishing by my best friend Brain Turner. At the time I had no idea that it would become my lifelong addiction. When I am not out on the water I am sitting in front of the vise production tying and designing new patterns. I have been fortunate enough to have become a signature fly designer with Solitude Fly Company, a member of the Ross USA and Ross Worldwide Pro Staff and to hold the 4lb test Catch and Release World Record Brook Trout. I am also an avid fly fishing photographer I have had photos featured in American Angler Magazine and have been featured on the cover of Kype Magazine.

Fishing Experience

I have fished in all types of waters from high altitude alpine streams to the saltwater flats. If it eats I won’t hesitate to put a fly in front of it. I spend a lot of time sight nymphing for large Trout and chasing Pike in the rivers surrounding my home waters.
