Pioneering different fly fishing techniques in Michigan's Upper Peninsula for over 10 years, Capt. Brad Petzke of Rivers North Guide Service offers remote outings in Michigan's most pristine wilderness. Brad offers his clients a very diverse variety of outings to choose from that are vastly different from what many Midwestern fly fisherman consider the norm. Brad calls the Escanaba River, St. Mary's and a lot of unmentionable jewels his home water. From Atlantic salmon, Native Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Wild Steelhead, and Pacific Salmon the U.P. has something to offer all skill levels of fly angler.
Brad's fly fishing background ranges from Alaska adventures, Rocky Mountain Trout fishing to Saltwater adventures. His true love is streamer fishing, whether it be spey casting for Steelhead or casting for trophy Brook/Brown Trout—this form of fly fishing is truly rewarding and offers some great opportunities for high quality fish of a lifetime! The Atlantic Salmon fishery of the St. Mary’s River is one of Brad's specialties. He spends more days chasing these fish than anyone in the region. He has been guiding the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for nearly 10 years and is the only full time fully licensed fly fishing guide in the region.
