Late last fall I got together with Catch Magazine's Todd Moen and Jakob Lund of Salmonfly Syndicate. Our goal, to capture the essence of Pacific Northwest steelheading in a short video. We decided to go out on a limb and explore a small remote unknown drainage. Despite the challenges of moody fish, we ventured into uncharted territory, a fast rising river, cold and extremely wet weather, and we struck gold!! What we found exceeded any of our expectations. Beautiful scenery, beautiful fish and a battle for the record books, all captured in a stunning way by Todd Moen's artistic eye in Fall Run.
